About Spark

Hi, I'm Justin.

For much of my life, I have been someone who thinks deeply, feels deeply, and spends a lot of time reflecting on what it means to live a good life.

Like many people, I have experienced periods of anxiety, loneliness, uncertainty, heartbreak, and feeling lost. There have been times when I felt overwhelmed by my thoughts, disconnected from myself, and unsure of which direction to take.

One of the most important things I learned during those difficult periods was that healing doesn't always come from having the perfect answer.

Often, it begins with having a safe space to talk.

A space where you can slow down, speak openly, and feel genuinely heard without judgement.

That belief is what inspired me to create Spark.

Why I Created Spark

I created Spark because I saw how many people were carrying their struggles alone.

In a world that constantly tells us to be productive, successful, and have everything figured out, many people are quietly battling stress, anxiety, loneliness, relationship difficulties, self-doubt, or simply feeling stuck.

Sometimes we don't need someone to fix us.

Sometimes we simply need someone who will listen.

Spark is a calm, supportive space where people can talk openly about what they're experiencing, reflect on what's important to them, and gain clarity about where they want to go next.

My Approach

My approach is warm, person-centred, and grounded in genuine human connection.

I believe every person already possesses strengths, wisdom, and insight within them. Often these become difficult to access when life feels overwhelming.

Rather than telling people what they should do, I aim to provide a supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, challenges, and goals at their own pace.

I want people to leave a session feeling lighter, clearer, and less alone.

My Background

I hold degrees in:

  • Behavioural Science

  • Speech Pathology

  • Communications & Media

These studies provided me with a strong foundation in communication, human behaviour, wellbeing, and supporting people through challenges.

I am also committed to ongoing learning and professional development in counselling, mental wellbeing, and reflective practice.

A Few Things I Love

Outside of Spark, you'll often find me:

  • Walking in nature

  • Exploring beautiful places

  • Reading philosophy and psychology

  • Filming videos and creating content

  • Spending time near the ocean

  • Appreciating the small moments that make life meaningful

Nature has taught me many of the lessons I try to bring into Spark: patience, presence, simplicity, and the importance of slowing down.

You're Welcome Here

Whatever you're carrying right now, you don't have to carry it alone.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, lonely, or simply need a space to talk, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you for a while.

Welcome to Spark.
